A few months ago I published this item on a blogger site, when our server was doen. Take it as context and background...

SORRY YOU ARE LEAVING

This is funny as hell. Last night I found this sweet note in my email:
We just received a message that you unsubscribed from the PressReleases_TheAwarenessCenter Newsletter.

So that we may improve our forum in the future, it would be appreciated if you would take a moment to answer some questions. The response can be sent to mailto:vickipolin@theawarenesscenter.org.

1. Why did you unsubscribe from PressReleases_TheAwarenessCenter Newsletter?
2. What can you recommend in order to improve PressReleases_TheAwarenessCenter Newsletter?
3. Can you help publicize The Awareness Center's group to other people in your neighborhood?
4. Has PressReleases_TheAwarenessCenter Newsletter help educate you on the ramifications and other issues surrounding childhood sexual abuse in Jewish communities? In what ways?
5. Can you suggest any additions to The Awareness Center's website?
6. Do you know of anybody who might be interested in any of The Awareness Center's discussion forum? Can you send us details of their e-mail address and name so that we can invite them to join the group?
7. Are there any other comments that you would like to make at this time?

Sincerely,

Vicki Polin, MA, LCPC

The killer is, of course, that I never unsubscribed from Ms. Polin's service, for the obvious reason: Some day she's bound to get to my name on the list of Jewish men in the northern hemisphere, and when she does, I'd like to know about it at least at the same time all my friends do.

I rushed a reply to Ms. Polin that I never ever unsubscribed from her valuable service, but no response has been coming my way so far. If you find out anything about a sex scandal I'm involved in, please inform me, as I'm currently without direct access to the scandal list.

And in the words of the immortal Billy Martin, I swear I didn't punch that doggie!
