School for the Possessed?

 

Received this by email and began to wonder who might be the individual in one’s child and how do they get rid of it in this boarding school. When I was growing up you were sent to boarding school after your parents got divorced or after they went to America and you couldn’t handle the new country. Also, if you were particularly hard to handle you became officer material at the military boarding school in Haifa. But setting up an outfit to target whomever is lurking inside our children sounds both ambitious and timely.

 

Perhaps this marks the new direction Child Psychology is taking, right before our eyes: We've completely de-eroticized our relationship with our children, and we enforced chemical controls over their behavior; now it's high time we turned to their inner psyche with a blow torch and a mission.

Yes, yes, I know it's a positive ad, looking to show boarding schools are really thenthitive places, where freshly divorced parents can unload their problem children without pangs of conscience. What can I tell you, it rubbed me the wrong way.
